Why This Resource Exists
North Carolina law makes specified arrest information public, but the information is split among several custodians. The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office creates county booking records, operates the Detention Facility, and publishes the P2C custody roster and Daily Bulletin. The North Carolina Department of Adult Correction maintains records for people who enter state prison or supervision. North Carolina courts hold later case events and dispositions. When a public item is not displayed online, the Sheriff’s Information Requests page and county NextRequest portal provide the formal request path under Chapter 132. This site organizes those official routes and does not republish booking photographs.
Resources Collected Here
The site focuses on practical, source-specific ways to locate and understand New Hanover County records:

- Separate same-day, multi-date, and VINE custody pages that explain what each official system can and cannot show
- City-specific routes for Wilmington, Carolina Beach, and Wrightsville Beach police records and county jail checks
- Clear distinctions among a county booking, a court disposition, an NCDAC offender record, and federal or immigration custody

How Search Partners Work
Some pages contain search tools supplied by outside providers. Those companies set their own prices, terms, and result coverage. If a visitor follows a tool into a paid signup, this site may receive a referral fee that helps keep its public pages available. A referral does not control the provider’s data, pricing, or outcome, and it is not an endorsement of any record as accurate.
